Whistleblower protection

The Studierendenwerk Paderborn adheres to the principle of working together with students, business partners and employees in a spirit of trust. Corruption, fraud or other violations of the law have no place here. If you learn in your daily work that these principles are being violated, please report this to us.

Our goal is to comply with laws and regulations. If errors occur, we want to uncover and eliminate them.

The Studierendenwerk Paderborn complies with the requirements of the planned German Whistleblower Protection Act and the EU-wide standard for the protection of whistleblowers in accordance with the EU Whistleblower Directive (EU-2019/1937).

In order to implement these requirements, we have set up a whistleblower system with the possibility of reporting legal violations confidentially. There are two reporting channels available to you,

Our employees, as well as all other persons who have contact with the Studierendenwerk Paderborn, can report legal violations via these confidential reporting channels.

We work together with a service provider: Every report received in the reporting portal or hotline reaches Integrity GmbH, which is our ombudsman's office responsible for handling reports.

Reports can be submitted there with your contact details, but also anonymously.

All reports will be received confidentially. Our service provider Integrity GmbH guarantees that the employees or managers of the Studierendenwerk Paderborn will not know your name unless you have expressly consented in advance. Details on data processing by Integrity GmbH can be found here.

Our service provider Integrity GmbH will send you an acknowledgment of receipt within 7 days and will inform you within 3 months at the latest what the investigations have revealed on your report.
