Helpful links to find part-time Jobs

Hardship policy: Hartz IV as a loan for students
Students who do not qualify for BAföG, but have lost income from their part-time jobs due to the current situation, may be eligible for social benefits (unemployment benefit II and housing allowance). For this, a leave of absence from your studies is generally required. If students are not on leave, there is the option of applying for a loan to secure their livelihood due to a hardship case in accordance with Section 27 (3) of the Second Book of the Social Code.

In the current situation, a special hardship case can be taken into consideration, provided that there has been a significant reduction in income due to the pandemic. Your local job center will decide on a case by case basis.
